We're Pregnant!

I'm trying to keep my social media pregnancy posts at a minimum so I don't annoy anyone, but I would love to share more about our amazing news on my blog. We found out we were pregnant on December 18, 2014. I had been extremely tired since we got home from our NYC trip and I was getting horrible foot spasms at night that I hadn't had since high school. Mix that with starting to get nauseous and I knew I was finally pregnant!

We went to Disney World the week after we found out and even though I didn't get to ride a lot of the rides, getting to tell my family in person including Taylor during her Christmas Skype was incredible.

Unfortunately with pregnancy came every single first trimester ailment possible- extreme morning sickness (which should more adequately be named all day sickness), acne, fatigue, gas, bloating... the list goes on and on. I'm like Elizabeth Banks on What to Expect When You're Expecting.

Even though I have been sick this whole time, I still feel incredibly blessed to be pregnant since I know so many people who have struggled to have families. I will take my morning sickness any day, it's like what Elizabeth Banks says: "It's all just proof that there is a miracle growing inside of me."

I have loved reading about pregnancy and learning about all of the different choices you have to make as a parent from their diet to sleep training... The best part is I have never loved going to the doctor more. Our first ultrasound was such an incredible experience getting to watch peanut move. It's amazing to think that now he/she is the size of a lemon!

We're looking forward to becoming parents and for the adventures ahead. August can't come fast enough and we have so much to do!
