New Addition to the Family: Boston

Yes we are crazy, we have another addition to our family! No, it is not a baby... we got a puppy! Our little guy Boston is seven weeks old and we are so in love.

How did this happen? Well everyone knows that I love animals and if I could I would save all the animals (I can't look at the pets at shelters or PetsMart because it makes me sad.) But surprisingly the main force behind this decision was Todd. It all started last week when one of the ladies I work with told me about a puppy they found (not Boston). I went home and told Todd about it and said we should go save it. Later that night Todd got into bed with his laptop and pulled up the classifieds on KSL just to look. When he saw Boston's picture, he suggested we just go see the puppies. Word of advice, when it comes to puppies, you can't "just look". If you go to look at puppies most likely you will leave with a new pet.

So that's what happened. We went to look at the puppies and fell in love with Boston. We left that night to find an ATM, but felt like we were rushing into it, so we went home empty handed. The next morning we were both sad, especially Todd. Mid day I called and she still had our little guy so we drove straight there after work to get him. We went straight to PetsMart to get supplies and everyone came up to us to tell us how cute he is- we are proud parents.

It's a lot like having a baby, we don't sleep much since we are up all night with a crying puppy, but we love him so much. Our Coco Bean has been great with Boston and she is starting to play with him. We are so thankful for our little family and this new addition. Some people may think we are crazy to have two pets after only 10 months of marriage, but we are so happy! Here are some pictures of our little guy, he already dominates our photo galleries on our phones. How could he not? He's so cute!

Sleeping in his mini bed. He's always falling asleep.

This is how you feel when you are up all night with him and after a full work day- completely drained.

First day on our trip to PetsMart. Literally everyone in the store commented on how cute our little guy is.

Sunday afternoon nap with Daddy. I am sure he would trade in his kennel in the kitchen for a place in our warm bed in a heart beat. Coco Bean already sleeps on our bed every night, it's getting a little crowded.
